After five developer previews and eight beta builds, Google has finally released the stable version of Android 12 to eligible Pixel smartphones. The update is rolling out from today, October 19. If you own a Google Pixel 3 or newer, head to Settings>System>System update to grab the update for your phone. Eligible phones include the Pixel 3, 3 XL, 3a, 3a XL, 4, 4 XL, 4a, 4a 5G, 5, and 5a. Of course, this is the version of Android that launches on the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, too.
Android 12 is a massive update to Google’s mobile operating system. It includes an all-new theming engine called Material You, new privacy and security features including a new Privacy Dashboard, scrolling screenshot support, and much, much more.
